This orange ginger cranberry sauce recipe is the perfect combination of tart cranberries with sweet orange juice and spicy ginger for the best Thanksgiving Dinner condiment.
We all have heard “It’s the sauce that makes the dish”. Well, when it comes to Thanksgiving, it’s The Cranberry Sauce that makes the dish. This recipe is so delicious and the flavors are sure to compliment any Thanksgiving Menu. It’s one of the easiest things to make and I recommend making this days ahead for an easy Turkey-day of prep.
Honestly, I never liked the cranberry sauce until just a few years ago when I made this recipe for the first time. As a little girl, I can remember the purple log in the perfect shape of a tin can resting on a pretty little saucer. It just wasn’t my thing.
Then, there was the bucket of cranberry sauce brought to my first … and last…. T-Day Potluck. My friend brought, literally, a gallon of cranberry sauce made with Jell-o and nuts…. lots’s and lot’s of nuts. It just wasn’t my thing either. I ended up freezing as much as I couldn’t give away and made little loaves of Cranberry Nut Bread that made great little Christmas gifts.
